100 Greatest Neo Soul Songs of All Time (plus some)
Back in 2018, I came across a guy who pulled together a list of what he considered to be the 100 greatest neo soul songs of all time. Helpfully, a bunch of people left some additional suggestions in the comments to that post. All I did was transfer the list into Spotify.
Interestingly enough, as I’ve re-reviewed this list, I noted a few things. First, it’s got a couple of spots where it skips a number. I’ve taken the liberty to fill in those gaps. Second, the list looks to have changed over the years. Finally, in the years since I’ve put this together, some of the tracks have been unlisted on Spotify (as Spotify likes to do).
I’ve refreshed the list since then, so now it’s 154 tracks…
And I while I do think this list is good, there are a couple that I wouldn’t view as strictly “neo-soul.” But we are here for the vibes. This playlist got a good amount of its own burn with a lot of people saving it. I hope you get to enjoy it too.
